Woensdagen Movie Review
Every few weeks reported during the evening news, or is there another message to the newspaper, the sexual abuse of children. Sometimes it looks like a trending topic, but at the same time too horrible for words. It is easy to express boast about what to do with that monster, imprisoned for life without penalty is high enough! Understands and in fact such a law is inexcusable.
But our response, we ignore the children, with the largest of sexual abuse. Aaron Rookus, like a young Dutch filmmaker to make clear to us now that punishing perpetrators is not the most important. The range of media and the reactions of the people who wear too often focus on himself guilty rather than their victims. Short Rookus' Wednesday fetching the whole child and would like to make it clear how it is for a child to be victim-fart sex.
The world Kris
Every Wednesday is Kris (8 years and played by Tyn Hagemen) with Willem (35 years, played by Victor Griffin) in the pool. Kris fully enjoy this Wednesday and realized that William made friends with him more and more. When William the dressing Kris makes a shocking proposal, kids world completely collapsed. The film is actually the world Kris, your domain. Therefore, the camera focuses on him. Kris camera rarely strays and when it does its due attention Kris also distracted by something that we as spectators to watch too.
sonar
Sound is the dream world of children 8 years. He is pure concerned themselves and dreams, often making noise stopped or softer. As the camera work is also purely acoustic perception Kris. This incredible combination of cinematic camera work and sound makes Wednesday really feels like the author intended: it is dedicated to children. This measure of William stores a really devastating bomb. The terror, the helplessness of the locker room Kris fascinating directed by the talented Aaron Rookus the film after the completion of more gentle and controlled landscape. When not one thing done physically, shock is painfully high. If only one such measure can be so destructive, so if William will continue?
conclusion
Later Wednesday reason no less angry. While the blood is boiling resentment towards his Willem however, are forced to think about the consequences of Kris and what the consequences might be if William is lost yet. It is therefore important that the message of the filmmaker Aaron Rookus very well received. Showing Wednesday with young talent manager and that makes it more interesting. It was in 2013, when part 2 of this topic should come from: the construction of the film, Kris 18.
